Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority
This election will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025.
-
The Mayor of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough helps direct the overall strategy of the seven councils which make up the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. Working with the leaders of the seven councils, the Mayor has responsibilities in areas such as transport, infrastructure, skills, business, and housing.
A combined authority is a group of councils which come together to make decisions on policy areas that affect them all, such as transport between local authorities or regional business policies. Not all areas have a combined authority, and not all combined authorities have the same powers.
The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority consists of Peterborough City Council and all areas of Cambridgeshire County Council.
We are currently aware of one candidate for this position. The official candidate list will be published after 31 March 2025, when this page will be updated. You can help improve this page: add information about candidates to our database.
